The Chaîne des Puys is the largest terrestrial volcanic group in the world on a limited territory to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2018. Find 80 young volcanoes that extend over an area of 35 kilometers. It is 350 million years of history of our planet that rests here.

Postman Cheval's Ideal Palace
A true masterpiece of the Art Brut, the Ideal Palace of the Facteur Cheval is classified as a historical monument since 1969. It is a place not to be missed under any circumstances. It is in the small village of Hauterives that this monument has been talking about itself for more than a century.
St. Mary of the Tourette Convent
Corbusier realized the Convent Sainte-Marie de la Tourette at the request of the Dominicans of Lyon. This convent is as laid in the wilderness of the forest and meadows. The facades are made of raw concrete, the few fills painted with white lime.
Mer de Glace
From Chamonix, the famous cogwheel train will bring you up to 1913m altitude on the site of Mentenvers and will offer you a spectacular panorama of the Sea of Ice (Mer de Glace), the largest glacier of Mont Blanc with an area of 32 km²
Chauvet Cave 2
In 1994, Jean-Marie Chauvet, Eliette Brunet and Christian Hillaire discovered the Chauvet Cave. This discovery was made public in 1995. The Cave of Chauvet is classified in world heritage of UNESCO.
